fists clenched

fists clenched

A Poem by Kerri Lee Hudson
"

I'm not sure when I wrote this... I just read it on one of my sites and decided I should put it in here.. it makes sense to me...

"

we sing a song
so long and calm
and when were done
our worlds begun
to see the truth
you'll understand
in life we care
it's in our hands
to clench your first
to hold that tight
a grasp so hard
your scream in fright
you see the truth
that lies are spread
you fight for truth
your fight for life
you fight for those who are alive
you see the pain
amongst their homes
you see the pain
no one else knows
you try so hard to help them out
they shut you out
you walk about
fearing the pain you know
again you scream
the pain it's back
you clench your fist
a grasp so tight
that no one will ever
forget that night
