the world now

the world now

A Poem by Kerri Lee Hudson

We look for light
We look for truth
But all we find is an empty booth
A passage here
But nowhere else
We look for someone who knows them self
We look for answers
We build up hope
But in the dark we grasp and grope
Cause we will find, that what we seek
Is deep inside, yet still asleep
Our hearts are strong
The trail is long
Our destination is what we see
And that is where we will always be
