The Red Dragon

The Red Dragon

A Poem by Ostrogski

When the red dragon spreads its wings

Darkness consumes the land

Light is banished, hope is forgotten

Mountains crumble like quicksand

The earth is scorched, life burned

Fire as far as the eye can see

The dragon knows not, nor cares not

The difference between friend and enemy

NIce work! I prefer the earth scorched, life burns

fire far as the eye can see.

Flows better but I’m no expert!
