I Walk with FireA Poem by surethingHave you ever wondered what it would be like to walk with someone polar opposite of you?
I
walked the thin line of ice
One too many times. The passion that I held for you Faded just as the ice did that spring. The
ice froze my soul As
the sun thawed yours. You found another flower to buzz around, While I found another flower to cover in snow. You
would tell me, at night, “Its
okay, its only a bit cold” While it was -30 degrees outside. You used to be okay with everything. I
walked the thin line of ice Yet
you walked beside me. No matter what the circumstances, You were my fire, and I was your ice. © 2015 surethingReviews
