Down the Metaphorical Rabbit Hole

Down the Metaphorical Rabbit Hole

A Poem by surething
"

This is how I feel when I have an anxiety attack, how about you?

"
It's like falling down
and hitting every branch along the way.

It's like the simple day lily,
or a small boat leaving from a large bay.

The sun may shine bright on a summers day,
but there will always be rain to stop the play.

Until then, we go inside and find an alternative,
and hope that it will be something positive.

That hope can fade ever so easily, but it
all becomes different when the color blue comes to mind.

Everything around me eases, and the tranquil feel moves in.
The string of the instruments lay close by,
While all I can see is the eyes of a ghost
And all I can feel is the breaking of my walls.

Its like falling down, but knowing I will catch my breath eventually.

You described falling and struggle with skill.
"Everything around me eases, and the tranquil feel moves in.
The string of the instruments lay close by,
While all I can see is the eyes of a ghost
And all I can feel is the breaking of my walls. "
I did like the above lines. Good to find a better place to gather mind and thoughts. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
