To Pray? or to Bully?

To Pray? or to Bully?

A Story by Le Sapphire

That was Sunday afternoon. I sat down at the back seat of the church near the entrance door. While waiting for the mass to begin, I kneeled down and started to pray. I thanked God for all the things He had given to me. I asked Him for forgiveness of all the trespasses that I have done. Also, I asked for His guidance in everything that I will be doing. After a few minutes, the priest came in. The choir, together with the people began to sing the entrance song loudly. I was very silent at that time because I didn't know that song. Suddenly, two ladies came in late and sat beside me. They were wearing short skirts and sleeveless blouses with big dangling earrings and red lipstick. Not just that, they are also very busy texting and having chit chat with each other. It seemed that they felt they were in a movie house and not in the church. By this time, I was really distracted. My attention was no longer in the mass. In my mind, I was bullying them. I wanted to reprimand them but I could not do it. I asked myself, "Is that how people behave during this time?" Well, it was very obvious.
