Euphoric

Euphoric

A Poem by Leah Mayes

crescent moon in Orion's orchard

above euphoric streams

of meandering thoughts

turning ripples and riddles

into woven conciousness

of vulnerability

strung by reckless trust and relativity

and tacked by surreal contortions

of pleasure and intamacy

demanding until dawn

satisfaction

between magnetic pawns

lost and lingering

your mystical aura of beryl

drenched with mad perpetual heat

now hungover on passion and lust
