Sidewalk hold me up nowA Poem by Leah Maldonadothe way I feel on a walk home, pretty random. Why can I not put words on the funny little Sensation inside my nose, WHen I walk and the rain is barely touching me But I return drenched in a million minature rain...buds?
It smells like green days when the sun is out Yet the sky is a concrete slab Crumbling onto me But I close my eyes And I'm in the loving arms of summer days But my sweater wrapped arms and cold And I'm sort of confused.
I'm always confused. Repeat. © 2008 Leah MaldonadoReviews
