To My Dearest Love

To My Dearest Love

A Story by Leah Elisabeth
"

I wrote this a couple of years back to creep out a friend and am only putting it on now for a contest.

"

My Dearest Love,

Ever since I met you, I haven't been able to get you off my mind.  Your angelic voice and exquisite blond hair drive me to distraction.  I long to run my fingers through those satiny strands.  I feel as if I could spend an eternity gazing into your eyes, so like fathomless pools with thoughts swimming like fishes in their clear, crystalline depths.

I can no longer live without you.  I cannot imagine never hearing your voice or seeing your face every day for the rest of my life, this life that is so meaningless, desolate without your presence.

The touch of your strong masculine hands send shivers of delight up and down my spine.  I could spend the rest of my life, just my hand in yours.  I want to put my future at your feet; to fall asleep listening to your heartbeat and to wake up in your arms.  That is a pleasure for which I would give anything.  Now I live my life with your face filling my waking thoughts and I only sleep so I may dream of you.  Beloved, I love you and I always will.

Love, (what a wonderful word love is!)

Your Secret Admirer

This is beautiful. I saw you entered it for my competition, but because it's not technically a story, I can't put you as one of the finalists...

I love it though!!

Wow, I love this, it's hilarious! I like that you put it up just for my contest. I'm afraid I haven't had many submissions, so might be a winner just by default, but you would have earned it all the same. This was exactly what I wanted!
