You Ruined MeA Poem by Imperfection2aTYou ruined me I believed in you and in the lies you told You said you were harmless, a lie so bold I thought you’d be different, that you’d guard my heart Now that you’ve ruined me, I’m glad we’re apart You ruined me I’m hurting and for release, I’m pleading There is seemingly no cure for my heart bleeding I may not live to see tomorrow You were the one that brought me sorrow You ruined me With your sweet words and poison kiss The lies you weave, I’ll not miss You damaged a good woman playing your game And despite what you think, I won’t take this pain You ruined me, And I plan on returning the favor
