I'm Your Friend

I'm Your Friend

A Poem by Laurie
"

Letting others know I am here for them.

"
When you're feeling down and blue,
think of me, I've been there too.
Need a friend? ask away.
I'll be your friend any day.
Need someone to lend an ear?
I'm a great listener and I am right here.
Want an opinion, someone else's thought?
Come to me, an opinion I've got.
Need encouragement to carry on?
I will tell you how strong you are, and sing you a song.
Need to get away from it all, even just for a day?
You're welcome at my house for a bit of a stay.
Feel you've had your share of bad luck?
Think it will never change, leaving your life a muck.
Give me a call, we will talk things out.
We can talk all night to erase your doubts.
What I am trying to say, through all my clues.
I am happy to be here for you.
Through all your feelings. Good , bad, happy or sad.
I will never waiver, I will never hide.
I will be here for you, always by your side.

Hello, message if you ever fancy a chat about.. whatever. Not phone calls cos am in the UK, but we can message, if you like. Til whenever if ever, please take care and keep safe. Please. .

Your words, your poem, are tragic and yet.. show tremendous mental strength. Can wrap such words around the body and let the spirit take what it will, perhaps.

Must away, Easter cookies in the oven. Don;''t want them burned to a cinder, :)
