alone in the room

Alone in the Room

My struggle is a passing breeze

You are comfortably aware of it

See to your nightstand, the world’s affairs

Observe relevance

Soak the perception of you in

always

Make sure you tag me

What's your insta

Waiters sliding phones

Apologies

Desperation

Where does your world end

How many degrees are meaningless

How many friends do you have

Who

wants

nothing

You're all leeches

Sucking off yourselves

Only half in the room

always

Reaching for relevance

Studying your reflection

Character staring you down

Blinded by the familiarity

You carry on
