Oh empty reed
how can you still sing

After everything I've
made from desire
i found
destruction was
fires true art

Now starting
to fade from
a blaze to
a flame
from a
flame to
a flicker
to ash

Mirror, mirror on
my wall
show me who's at fault
show me who's the fault

And no exact science
or pure faith
can make this
change

This shrinking
feeling
inside me
makes me
fall through
the cracks of
being
