Weed VirginityA Poem by Althelia Marie Caine
Sitting in the back seat,
Windows rolled up, Watching him put the flame to the bowl, He breathes in for two seconds, Then takes the pipe from his lips. Holding the sweet smoke in before he exhales slowly, Smoky sweetness filling the car, He passes the pipe to the girl sitting next to him. She repeats his actions n perfect grace, She passes the pipe back to me. Holding it awkwardly in my shaky hand I put it to my pips as he leans back to light the bowl. I inhale the sweet smoke then he takes the pipe from me. He watches worriedly as I hold the smoke in then exhale when he tells me its time. They watch me with worried, anxious eyes for my reaction. I sit passive for one long moment before letting a choked giggle slip passed my lips. He smiles at me and wraps his arms around my waist from his place in the drivers seat. He laughs as he says he stole the only virginity I had left.
