     Chapter 1

Gone

It’s finally Friday schools out and every high school teen was ready to rock and get ready for their school prom people asking left and right for prom dates but having fifty guys all asking you at once Is more than enough for Lena heights she was beautiful. Bronze hair that cut off to her back sky blue eyes that would make you think you’re in heaven a beautiful figure porcelain skin and her lips big and pout'y almost like a model and to top it off her small sharp nose. Everything about her was perfect and she had confidence in that, she was the talk of the school and she knew that. Everyone wanted to be like her she was kind confident amazing people would say so much that words itself couldn’t explain exactly how popular she was and she knew much too well. Her boyfriend was also the talk of the school Dylan hicks the best football player on the field he had dark brown hair that stood straight dark green eyes a sharp nose, broad shoulders tall and skinny and not to mention muscular he was handsome and they fit perfect together Lena always thought they did except for wanting his way all the time And she'd always think to herself how perfect her life was she was lucky she had a wonderful family and school life what could go wrong?

“Hey Lena babe “Dylan called out to her.

She looked up at him raising a brow he was sitting on top of the stoned statue of the rhino mascot in the schools front yard smiling down at Lena.

       “What? “She said.

“Me and the boys are going to put on a celebration before the prom you going to be there?”

    "What celebration"?

    "Our winning season" he said

Lena thought to herself before the

Prom Why not after? even if she were to attend before, her parents wouldn’t allow it not if they didn’t allow Dylan to come over for a bit she would just get herself into trouble and Dylan well he was that type of boy the troublemaker. She couldn't argue with that

“I can’t I have to go to Amy’s art convention thing” she lied she didn’t have to but she wanted too besides if it meant keeping her out of trouble she was okay with it. Dylan looked down at her with disappointment filled in his eyes “Can’t you just ditch it?

“No” she said sternly.

“Come on Lena please for me? It’s not

Like she’s not going to have more art stuff to

Do you see her every day and

Your parents barely even let me see you”

As much as she hated to admit it he was right her parents never actually let her see her own boyfriend but Amy she’d always see her and she could always make up for her art convention just by going to another one what harm could come?

“Alright Dylan but you have to pick me up I’ll have to say I’m going to a study group and don’t be late! I’ll be at the library at nine fifteen understood? “This is wrong she thought. Dylan’s eyes lit up with excitement “All right! “He screamed. he got his way and he loved that and Lena knew that every time he got his way it never turned up good but still she couldn’t say no not now anyway.

She walked off towards her red convertible

Thinking of the stupid mistake she made.

   Stupid she thought.

How could I have agreed? But how couldn't I have? He’s my boyfriend, but I just know something bad is going to happen my parents will end up finding out and I’ll be grounded for life.

Even though she was a blonde she wasn’t stupid that whole “blondes are special” thing was just made up; in fact she was smart grade a student but not smart enough to agree to the party. She drove home parked her car on the curb beside the mailbox and was ready to walk inside and take just a small nap before the wild party she knew it was going to be wild it was Dylan’s after all. “Hey Lena” Amy yelled out wavering a paintbrush in the air. Amy was in our garage as usual painting.” Come check this out!” She felt a bit of guilt turn her stomach but she pushed it back walked over towards Amy with smile.

“What is it?” she looked down at Amy giving her a smile as their mother would      do.

“So I stayed up all night asking myself what I was going to paint for the convention and ta duh” Amy held out a canvas before her eyes she couldn’t believe it the painting was beautiful and her guilt feeling began to rise again even more painfully than before. Because that painting was a painting of her Amy worked so hard for this convention and painted her for her art.

“It’s… its beautiful Amy it looks just like me” she couldn’t manage another word she was ditching the art convention just to go to some wild party were a bunch of drunk teenagers would be. She was the main theme for the convention so how could she not feel uneasy? Yep Down to every single detail sis! Amy said and she was right Lena thought Amy was super talented in painting and she had gotten every detail same bronze hair matching baby blue eyes lips big and pouty her nose so perfectly sized and sharp, her eyebrows so thin and perfect and cream skin that looked so soft in the painting Lena was too amazed to say anything she knew her sister was good but this was beyond good it was perfect. Amy was Smiling bright snapping her out of amazed and gawking mode and once again to guilt mode torturing her to death. She couldn’t take any more of it she thought to herself I can’t just ditch Amy but I can’t abandon Dylan either so what am I supposed to do?

Makeup some excuse maybe?

“Hey Amy this is just so amazing and you are absolutely sure to win and until the convention I’m going to lay down for a bit I’ve got this bulging headache” yeah she was running away and she knew it but she really did have a headache and it really hurt and she was tiered after her last assignment she needed a break. She wasn’t about to tell Amy about some bogus study group nope she had to think of something else. Alright you get to feeling better Amy said shinning another bright smile her green eyes bright and big the smile was some help lighting up her mood but not enough she felt more daggers piercing her heart. Amy turned back to her easel and began painting again         It’s finally Friday schools out and every high school teen was ready to rock and get ready for their school prom people asking left and right for prom dates but having fifty guys all asking you at once Is more than enough for Lena heights she was beautiful.
