I will stand by you
Until you decide your time has come
I will wisk you to freedom at your desire
That yours might be the glorious living that I have known
How morbidly tragic
To recall the heights that I have soared
Only to cage you in wilted spirit
The beautiful bird
That had never viewed the panorama of life
From the sky . . .

Beautiful...simply stunning write

Beautiful work! I imagine man's Creator comforting the mortal, telling him that there's nothing to fear, promising him true glory when he "decides his time has come." Simply beautiful.
