A poem about the uncertainty of love...

I can’t help but wonder
If you know how much I care for you
That with my every breath
I inhale another dream of you
The smell of your flowing hair
The warmth and softness of your skin
The sparkle in your beautiful eyes
And the way your laughter ignites my smile

 

I can’t help but wonder
If I will ever be the one
That you will give your love to
Pouring it out across the universal sky
So that I can hold you when you are is blue
So that I can warm you when you are cold
So that I can guide you when you need me
And to make love to you when desire beckons

 

I can’t help but wonder
If you feel my words
Or if you can read them in the sacred script
Etched across my heart
I will be there for you when you call to me
I will stand by you always
I will love you without limits
I will nurture your golden spirit

 

I can’t help but wonder
If you realize
That all that you are
Brilliant beautiful loving and good
This is all that you deserve
And so much more…
I can’t help but wonder

Nice poem with good descriptions. The repetition of the lines did not bother me but only reinforced the importance of the speakers thoughts and feelings. Nicely done.
