Dirty

Dirty

A Poem by Larry Dyson

Do you remember...?

 without anger...

can you remember a love devoid of emotional pitfalls...

 would the feelings grow ...?

estranged from the soil ...

 dirty dirty soil....

can love grow and bloom ...

...without the dirty soil?

within the dirt is where we grow...roots...and watered with LOVE

Or the fragility that death places on it...
over and through unblessed ground
could it be washed clean by the tears we both tasted
as they stung the lips
unspoken words?
Only the soil shall truly know
only roots can nurture now...

Sometimes have to have the dirt to scrub it clean...a fertilser, so to speak....who knows....reached me Laury, love xoxo

A very interesting question. What could the answer be? Nothing is all good or is anything all bad. Excellent poem.

its a metaphor for life . A messy business , the dirty soil is where the growth is.
