Dirty

Dirty

A Poem by Larry Dyson

Do you remember...?

 without anger...

can you remember a love devoid of emotional pitfalls...

 would the feelings grow ...?

estranged from the soil ...

 dirty dirty soil....

can love grow and bloom ...

...without the dirty soil?

such a garden life can sometimes make...but you'd be surprised how much can grow in just about any soil

Scribed with intent and hands encrusted with the soil

No I can't... It all seems like a riptide flowing at whim. Carrying the analogy further brought even more sense to it...

I am not sure, but one thing I am sure of is that this is a brilliant piece my friend. :)

Straightforward, simply put and as complex as it gets. Superb work.

. no, it can't ... i have known love ... still know it ... it got tested only when it was subjected to rage ... blinding rage ... your words are infinitely poetic, profound, and perceptive ...
