Omen

Omen

A Poem by Larry Dyson

windswept rolling sea, cloudly and forbiding, bird of prey watching and omen, red dress of power swirling, jewels at waist and throat and head for recognition and terra power.

                      Upon the windswept rolling sea

She under cloudy and forbidding skies of dark visage

In red dress of power swirling,

Jewels at waist and throat and head,

                         Recognition of Terra Power.

                         Bird of Prey ….watching,

                         Omen.

I love the mythical, magical feel to this. Is she a Goddess of doom? Is she a witch with blinding beauty? Is she a sea nymph creating chaos or is it simply a storm brewing? Great intriguing write my friend.

There are times I really do miss the FEEL of waves crashing down and over a bow... and the RISE beneath my feet as the deck reaches toward the sky.

Morning Laury...coffee is only a day old...but - its hot!
