A garden must combine the poetic and the mysterious with a feeling of serenity and joy.
Luis Barragan

As to the pure mind all things are pure, so to the poetic mind all things are poetical.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Everybody loves you when you're six foot in the ground.

John Lennon

I'm not going to change the way I look or the way I feel to conform to anything. I've always been a freak. So I've been a freak all my life and I have to live with that, you know. I'm one of those people.

John Lennon

How do poems grow? They grow out of your life.
Robert Penn Warren

How do poems grow? They grow out of your life.
Robert Penn Warren

I believe growth is a process lead by the addition of new. In either the form of epiphanies of life or of remembrances of past experiences that stood out for reasons of uniqueness.

A garden of life experiences…

Like the bouquet of picked epiphanies…

Unique to Me …

Alone.

Am I made aware of the lessons…

Because of the needs…

Inherent in the uniqueness…

Of My life…

Alone.

Perhaps it is…

The position of need I stand…

That defines the…

Beauty.

Rather I say…

It is the zealous,

frigid,

aphrodisiac,

lithe,

resilient,

 mercurial,

amative,

 bawdy nature of …

of this…

 Garden .

I love your diction, putting life, against the growth of a garden is stunning. We are always learning and sometimes we wilt, but we usually come back next you ready and able =) also the quotes at the top were nicely chosen.

I love the unique way you wrote this and life is def. specific to each one of us and the lessons we learn within it. This is poetry in motion and makes one think about their own life.

I like the clippings (quotes) that render the aroma of fresh cut greenery. Flowers are indeed epiphanies. Beauty fullfills a need, like an apple for hunger, recollects the reason that a garden is grown in the first place. A website is a garden of sorts, showing rows fruiting poems, the vines weaving into stories, yet some writes such as this yeild from the fruit all the way to the root (the bawdy nature) of a strange cafe that serves more poetry than coffee. This makes me think well... therefore well done!
