As One Tear DropsA Poem by Larry DysonseasonalA reasonable Season which encourages well wishes and cheer... for those who have little to want .
Another time of depression for those who have lost or are losing that which may make joy in their lives.
Bridges and cardboard boxes for homes, shelter from cold winds and absent huggs from people lost or never found.
We will remember them all this Season, children in rags and worn out blankets with a bedragled teddy or none at'all.
Candy canes do not dance and sugarplum- candied apples do not entice...
As One Tear drops.
