Just Me

Just Me

I have noticed from time to time...

Here lies a squeeky new avatar...

commissioned by a seasoned pro...

pictures are 'worth a thousand words'...

'pray tell'...

I accept that my soul and spirit can be ...

that different and divergent...

yet acceptance is not My, goal...

voice from the alternate mind set be...

The Tome by the alternate...

      ME.

I like the idea/inspiration behind this poem, and how the uncertainty created in musing over this observation is resolved by a resounding, ME... My interpretation of this tends toward a view that an alternate identity can be attempted or created anew, but in the end it is merely a different cover bound onto the same book. Interesting

:) yeah. the painted picture...is it the paint or the picture that grips?
is it the words or the voice speaking them?
is it the image or the human behind it?
soul or spirit?

hmmm. I like this.
it bothers me in the most delightful way.

the question that haunts me most because of this piece,
is more the questiong essence of the piece itself.

I read these type poems: of yours and mine and those of many other thinkers...
and I wonder:

How could the me that I have lived inside of my entire life be so mysterious to me? What vast universes are churning in the human mind!
The sea of darkness and light that forms us, that we form? hell, I don't even understand what I AM! what a weird life.

Great think-piece. really succint, and really profound.
cut me deep.

cheers!

The subject of your poem is really interesting, and the poem's simply captivating. Nicely done. Keep them coming. ;)

Sometimes the voice is far more important than the image. I like this piece because it mad me stop for a moment and think. Anything that requires more than a moments thought is an accomplishment and i think these words may stick in my head for a while. Sensational

Again a great deal said in relatively few words, this time about the writers different alter egos.

I like something about this...hard to put a finger on it. Interesting work.

I especially like when you delete someone for whatever reason, then they change their name and come back and it isn't readily apparent that you've had prior experience with them.
