Water

Water

A Poem by Laurie Lancaster

is a flood of tears

from a broken heart

the dripping of cum

down my leg

my daily meditation

hot afternoon bath

cleansing

the blood of life

monthly reminder of the

eternal natural

connection to the ruling Moon

swimming in the tides with

fish, crabs and dolphins

Mother’s milk

pumping in my chest

most of our essence

is fluid, liquid

it is the basis of Love

compassion, feeling, emotion

life and death

destruction tsunami style

or death at sea in November

primordial sludge

surging or

slithering onto land

This is very poignant, raw and direct. I like it.
