Chapter 3

Chapter 3

A Chapter by laurenrose

The next morning Ana wakes to a warm ray of sunshine. She throws her duvet to the side, gets up and has a shower. The birds are outside and tweeting and Ana is inside singing. She throws on a white robe, looks to the clock and realizes it is only 6am, never the less she continues to sing and apply makeup, straighten her hair and paint her nails. She walks toward the wardrobe and picks out a flowy white dress, fits her feet in 4 inch heels and pins a daisy in her hair.

Ana slowly toddles down the stairs the carpet padding the sound that the heels make. She can make out voices.

She tiptoes closer to the living room. She was almost about to burst in the room and say " I know you guys are planning a birthday surprise".

"Should we tell Ana?"

"We have to!"

"But we can't let her know!"

To Ana it didn't sound much like a birthday surprise. Ana leans on the door thinking it was closed but she ends up sending the door flying.

"Oh, Ana. Umm...You heard..."

"Well we have to tell her now."

Ana looks at her parents and whispers "What?", she meant for it to come out more like a shout rather than a whisper but it just didn't come out.

"Take a seat Ana...

When you were young,1 year old actually, you were abandoned. By a very rich family... and we, we took you in..."

" You don't need to tell me anymore, don't worry I will never go of with them, the people who abandoned me..." Ana had tears rolling down her cheeks and so did her parents. This was the answer to Ana's questions.
