Dear Life

Dear Life

A Poem by LaurenGrapefruit

You're not doing what you promised me the last time we got together.

You're doing the exact opposite-you're sucking the creativity right out of me.

Is this growing up, Life? Are we supposed to loose the joys of rain falls and sunshine as we grow?

If so, i don't want to get a second older.

I just want to close my eyes and pretend that i am the same girl i was.

I think everybody at one point changes and most of us want to stop and rewind it all. Good poem.
