Heartbroken

Heartbroken

A Poem by subtly.existing
"

A Love We Never Had

"

Almost a full month later

I see you walking with her

So many pictures with her

Why did I never look at you like her

I spent a single night trying to help a friend

Lost four in total in the end

But the irony isn’t lost on me

Keep your head down, pull your hood up

Youll get out of this town someday

Theres more to life than people who like you to mess s**t up

Not everyone will swear to stick by you for the things you supply

People come and go, but you’re stuck with yourself through your whole eternity.
