Get Up Stand Up, Stand Up For Your Rights

There are so many situations going on right now that are just hindering modern men and women to see what’s really going on behind the scenes.  We just seem to comply with every situation, new law, new war, new everything because we are scared, terrified people. Whatever happened to standing up for our rights? You know, protests, voting for what we want (even though most everyone is selected not elected.) When will we stand up and say ‘enough is enough I refuse this system.’  One day, it will be too late.

It’s almost as if we really are programmed, we wander around day in and day out without any intent to notice the truth or the intent to rise up and against ‘the system,’ but its not our fault. We have been programmed to think that the system is out of our control and we can’t do anything to change it�"or can we? We seem to think that the system is some type of entity that is away from our reach and public view, something we only see on Television when we are told what they are already doing and why.  We treat ‘the system’ as if its esoteric�"and that’s because we let it become that way!

Did you guys know we each are individuals with a large amount of power? Every single one of us has the power to change the world around us.  It’s our fault people are dying; every drop of blood spilled is our fault for not standing up for not saying, “hey this is wrong.”  So, if we keep playing by ‘their’ rules then we will keep letting our world fall to pieces. We have become nothing but cancer to this planet we live on.

So many people around me complain about the system. Well you want to change it? DO SOMETHING!  If you are going to protest, make sure you get a permit then ROCK the s**t out of the system and your rights. It does work.  Disrupt it, shake it, tear it to pieces, go against its rules and anyone that stands with these tyrant losers will panic because they are the ones who put those rules into place.

It’s about time we create a system everyone loves, where no one is without, dying over not having medical care, getting an education where kids can afford a school lunch and a bus ride home and most of all freedom. Our constitution has principles that are being taken from us blindly while we stand by and let it happen!  A system unchallenged will always win.  What better time for a Revolution.

Our targets? They aren’t on the front line; they make the front line do the dirty work for them.  They maybe brainwashed and corrupt but that by no means indicates we should stand here and let it happen. Do something about it. All that has ever been noticed is hatred, war, money, power and violence. What is this all REALLY going on for?  Don’t you want to know the truth?

The elect are always saying things such as; “ Don’t let any of those conspiracies you’re hearing sway you from what we want you to believe.” Did you know that every lie generates from a slice of truth? So, screw you elects. It’s merely just a game of telephone�"and every time someone in the oval office wants to tell the truth, they ‘suspiciously died in their hotel room on an over dose, got shot in the head while in a limo with family�"and even have their RECORD labels dropped when trying to rap and sing about the truth. Why does this all happen? My opinion in the end, because we are all slaves to this Modern Society and when one person gets the guts to stand up with no one to back them up, people end up dead. So, as Bob Marley says: “Get up, sand up, stand up for your rights. Get up, stand up, don’t give up the fight.”

Start a Revolution! You be the change in the world you want to see!

I am reading this as a pysch student. I respect what you wrote here, and you bring a lot of things to light. However, what I have noticed about similar things from other people all over the web, is that everybody wants change to happen. However, they want change to happen as THEY see fit. Everybody agrees that the system is corrupt, but everyone has their own way they want to use or think is the right way, to attain the same goal. I've read similar things from both liberals and conservatives, and both sides believe that to reach the same goal and fix the corrupted system you have to use either liberal or conservative methods to reach that same goal. The key thing here is knowing how to win the hearts and minds of man. It is also understanding that a quiet voice is still a voice and sometimes more powerful than the one that goes outside protesting. A quiet voice can be delivered into the ballot box, signed and sealed, leaving the ballot for candidates empty. The fact that you turn it in shows that you care about whats happening in your country, the fact that you sealed an unmarked ballot or wrote in a name, shows that you are taking a stand in protest right there. It's knowing how the chessboard of politics works. You have a really well written and strong thought provoking piece here.

Always be honest in your message. If someone doesn't like what you stand for what you talk about in your writing, well then it is their fault that they spend a portion of their time out of their day reading what they didn't like. If they complain about it, that just goes back to being their fault. If I read something that I don't agree with, or don't like I just choose not to comment. You shouldn't be afraid to say whats on your heart.

Words of wisdom I totally agree, I live in the UK and we're facing the same fight with the same corrupt tyrants the gap between the rich and the poor is getting wider on a daily basis. I really enjoyed reading your words its definitely food for thought.
