WarA Poem by Aurora KingsleyMy take on war. After the turmoil dies; And after the soldiers have wept And mourned their own deaths; After the war has gone And rubble is all that is left; What has been done? What has been accomplished? Resolution? Redemption? Revenge?
After the world becomes silent; After the fire no longer burns And our souls have been ripped from our bodies; After the enemy weakens And everything is now “well”; Where is the love? Where is the triumph?
There is none! For war has torn us apart And what is lost will never be gotten. © 2013 Aurora KingsleyAuthor's Note

Those two things speak to me in ways that no one else can, and I hope to make a career out of either one of those things. :) more..Writing
