The Night With Hidden Fear

New house

"

My wife and I always dreamt of having a new house. The house was so small that my son, wife, and I had to share a room. I knew that the age of thirteen was ordinary that the kid were to sleep in their separate rooms. About two years in living in that old, tiny, and crowded house, my wife and I were able to save enough money to buy a bigger house for our family. Before buying the house, I felt as if this house could make my family grow much stronger, and allow our relationship towards each other move towards potential and open up. The house looked a bit old, but it seemed like a little repairing could finish up the looks. After buying the cheap house, my wife and son decided to unpack. So, i decided to take a walk around the house at least one more time. Before I knew it, I swear I saw the face of a woman glaring out the kitchen window. Seconds later, I felt as if someone had tapped my shoulder, and a woman's voice.

“Andy, is everything okay? You seem a bit shakened. What’s wrong?” she said stunned.

I turned around staring at the window.

“I swear I saw someone. Maybe because I’ve been working all day. ” I said calmly.

“Well as soon as Andre and I get done packing, we all can rest.” she stated quietly.

As my wife walked in the house, I found a black cat staring right at me with it’s big, round eyes. I calmly walked towards it, and figured it was friendly. My son always wanted a pet, so I figured I’d

surprise him. I took the cat in the house and treated it as our pet from that day on. As I was walking down to Andre’s room, I saw the room where I had thought I saw someone. I felt as if someone was watching me from behind. Seconds later, I felt as if I were being pushed towards that dark room. It was as if I had no control over my body.

“Dad! Don’t go in there, there is a stranger in there.” Andre yelled to grab my attention.

“Andre, everything is okay. There’s nothing, see look!” I said softly as if I were talking to myself.

I walked slowly with feelings such as loneliness and regrets running through my mind. I then decided to leave the room alone. The next morning, Andre claimed as if his head was out of control.

My wife asked, “Did you not sleep last night Andre?”

He replied softly, “I went in that dark room that dad was planning to go in.”

I whispered to myself, “There has got to be a reason why I felt strange feelings near the room.”

As Andre continued to complain about how heavy his head was feeling, I told my wife to take him to his grandma’s house as I was going to repair the house. After them leaving the house, I decided to check out the dark room. I then noticed my cat staring right at me with his large, round eyes. I always thought that he had a staring problem because he would always stare at me. Until today, I then realized he was actually staring behind me. As I turned around with confusing thoughts running through my mind, I saw the same face for a second or two in the corner of my eyes. I then brushed it off again, as if I was going insane or just too tired. I walked towards my bedroom with the feeling of someone standing or walking just an inch away from me. I turned around greeting nothing usual. The room was filled with the feeling of loneliness, since my wife and son are gone. I got on the bed and rested my chin on my knees which I

had brought close to my chest and slightly rocked back and forth. After hours of thinking about the strange things that have been occurring, I laid flat back and rested my mind with no thoughts at all. But, just a minute or two of sleeping, I woke up to a shadow looming over my sleeping body watching me breath in and out as my torso raised and fell as I was breathing. It spoke to me with shrieks and I responded with fear.

I decided to escape the house, and called my wife and described the experience that just occurred in the house.

“Andy, the previous owner told me that his wife had died in that house.” she says softly.

“Why did you not tell me?” I said a bit stunned.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t know how you would respond, and Andre says he feels a lot better ever since he left that house.” she claimed.

We decided to leave the house, and sell it for a low price. But since we have invested all of our money on the house, we were left with a little amount of money, and we forced to live with my mom for awhile. Few years later, the house was abandoned. From this day on, I lived with no regrets as I knew that the presence of evil could do great amount of harm to my family. As time goes by, my wife and I were able to save enough money to buy our old house. I’ve never been this excited to be living in such a crowded area, but an area crowded with all the good memories.
