Russians love their children too

Russians love their children too

A Poem by SWANN

Post-communistic era, Soviet allure,

Beautiful white winters for Russians to get through.

Minimalistic thoughts, with tragedy enhanced,

Russians love their children too; they just don’t show it much.

Society of principles and strict moral barrels.

A clan who feel tragedy so much deeper than others.

Their writers lead the classics, while their women lead with charm.

Russians love their children too, although they’re never planned.

Those people don’t just feel sadness, they seek to understand

How on the beautiful streets of Russia, the natives can be so bitter and sad.

And yet it’s a miserable circle of life, desire and hope,

Russians love their children too, but their children never learn to love.
