A Poem by SWANN

Just give me a cold winters day
When I can go away and stay.

Just give me pain, give me life
Let me feel torment inside.

Let me torture your poor soul
Let me be a metaphor.

Let me conquer, let me stay
Let me love you all the way.

Let me cry and let me laugh.
I can never feel enough

If I struggle, if I pray,
Take a knife and cut me into shapes.

Don't be afraid of the dark clouds
Let them become your reliance.

Accept the worst, refuse the best
Unload yourself from being obsessed.

You're the ocean, the tears, the blood.
You are the mum I've never had.

Unload yourself, become so free
When the train comes, close your eyes and breath.

Its a very powerful poem, at least as I felt it. Although a few of verses I found a tad hard to understand. That might just be that I'm unused to poetry, however. But overall I think it is a very strong, very good poem particularly the ninth verse.

That's one of the evocative words that you dedicated to someone. Very nice as well as bright insights you're born with. Quite fascinating. Your work makes me looking forward to reading your stuffs... so would be taking a look in 'bout no time.
