Legend of the Blood Moon RisingA Poem by Bright Ocean Starjust a little mythical lore to think about this night, Night of the Blood MoonThe Legend of the Blood Moon Rising There is blood in the heavens There is a reddish haze It creeps from aft horizon It portends a doom of hate Mystics pray and light the door With candles blessed are we To ward off evil spirits that Roam the world on spree It is said that on this night Night of the blood moon whole The door to Hades opens wide And the Devil flies for every soul He unleashes his minions His demons are free to flee As demonic and treacherous as The worst that man can be A candle wax made from bees Lit on the window ledge Bearing the blessing of a Priest Protects those within, instead.
