![]() Cloudy Winds and Fitful godsA Poem by Bright Ocean Star![]() The stars twinkled down on me tonight...![]() Cloudy Winds and Fitful gods… Silent wake and rapid clouds Rip across the moonlit shroud Racing winds blow way up high Up above the cool, winter sky Stars above lie stationary Winking and blinking patient, airy Moonlight translucent behind gray vapors Moisture’s droplets wafts and whispers Impatient, racing, rapid winds Cross the heavens like the son of Zeus hot on the trail of a wayward muse What lies in wait, causing winds’ distress? Has Zeus insulted Hera with another mistress? No thunder rumbles on this night…. Yon silence sways quiet and bright. Bright Ocean Star; March 4, 2015 © 2015 Bright Ocean StarFeatured Review
