I knew I shouldn’t be doing this, but I had to. I stared out into the crowd that waited for me to give them commands. I placed my hands on the railing of the balcony trying to think of things to say.
“Tonight, will be Hell on Earth for The Heroes,” my voice rang out. The crowd below me cheered in agreement.
“Remember one thing, this battle is not being fought for the pleasure of killing, but for Mallico,” Everyone bowed their heads in respect for the late leader.
“Let’s get out there and do some killing!” all the Villains stormed onto the streets. Everyone that could fly took to the skies, getting good aerial views of the Heroes waiting for us on the other side of town.

I could see him waiting for us, Matt, in front of all the other Heroes. I could recognize every single one of the heroes. I knew most of them, Magenta was Katie, Steel Force was Ryan, many of them I knew, but none of them knew me.

“No one touches Maverick, he’s mine.” All the Villains instantly started running towards the heroes. In at least the first five minutes there were three heroes dead. Matt and I pretended to fight each other, making it look like we were actually hurting each other. We didn’t want to hurt each other badly because we were getting married in three days, and because I didn’t want to start bleeding out my stitches.

Charlotte said that if I started bleeding through the stitching, it wouldn’t stop. I had Matt pinned on the ground but I didn’t know what to do next. I couldn’t hurt him, that would ruin our wedding and I could start bleeding, but I can’t let him go, that would make me look like a wimp. I drew my hand back and forced it forward. Matt whipped his head to the side as I made it look like I hit him.

A strong spasm suddenly hit me making me fall to the ground. Heat rushed through my body and pain stabbed at my stomach. I placed my hand under my shirt to stroke the stitching, and when I pulled it back my hand was covered in blood.
“Oh no,” I whispered. Another spasm of pain hit me and I curled up into a ball on the ground.
“Faye,” Matt said. My body twitched everywhere and there was nothing I could do about it. I could see blood seeping through my long black sleeves and felt it dripping from my throat. When the drops hit the ground, I could see the yellow toxin separating from the blood. I expected Matt to come running to help me, but when I looked at him I saw that Infidelity was giving him a hard time. Suddenly something very hard connected with my back, making me roll on the ground. Through my screams of pain I could see who it was, Ryan.

“You’re little reign of terror is over, Fantasy.” He pulled his foot back and rammed it into my shoulder. I let out another scream as I heard a loud crack. Ryan picked me up by my bleeding neck and held me up in the air.
“You think you can win everything, but that’s not happening.” He so stole my line. Ryan pulled his free hand back and started forcing it forward
“Ryan, no.” I managed to whisper. Ryan dropped his hand and stared at me with his large blue eyes.
“How do you know my name?” he asked anger in every word he said. I tried to tell him who I really was, but his grip on my neck and all the pain I was in made it impossible
“How do you know my name!” Ryan yelled, shaking me violently, making my blood splatter on the ground.
“Answer me,”

“I’m,”
“You’re who?” this time, I had no strength whatsoever. Ryan threw me on the ground and kneeled next to me, his silver body glittered in the sun. Ryan held his hand on my face, pushing it into the ground.
“Who. Are. You.” Ryan started punching me every time I didn’t answer him.
“Who are you!” he demanded again, punching me in the face. “Answer me!” Ryan gave me one final punch. He drew his hand back just like he did when he was holding me in the air.

“I’m tired of people pretending to be someone they’re not.”
“No.” his hand lunged through my chest. I let out a blood-curdling shriek as he pulled his hand back with something in it, my heart. Everything went black and all my pain stopped.
