  I have to sit at

  home while my

  husband goes

  to war.

  Because I am a girl

  I have to take off

  my clothes to get

  payed and sell

  my body to people

  I don't know. 

  Because I am a girl

  I have to stand and

  act like I don't

  care when the

  one I love destroys

  himself with drugs.

  Because I am a girl

  no one cares about me

  and no one wants to.

  Because I am a girl

  I don't need emotions.

  Because I am a girl

  I don't have equal rights.
