Hurt

A single word...
       HURT.
So many connotations, definitions, and synonyms;
Yet different to each, the victims of
       HURT.
So easy to define,
but a challenge to behold,
understand, comprehend,
HIS  HURT
HER HURT
A learning experience;
A debilitating existence,
Unavoidable,
Motivational,
Persevering,
       HURT.
It, our master and we the slaves,
chained to it for eternity.
An obstacle to happiness
but a developer of sagacity.
Our constant companion
from birth to death
OUR  HURT.
