DAWN'S LIGHTA Poem by LasergraphThe trials of an insomniacI tossed and turned all night through, I didn't sleep a wink. My mind was racing way too fast, But gave me time to think.
All the questions I ever had, Were there for me to see, And all the jobs I had left undone, Came rushing back to me.
I thought that I would find answers, But more questions came instead, As I pondered the solutions, From the safety of my bed.
The mind is full of energy, All jumbled into thought. About the struggles of the past, And the battles that I've fought.
It is amazing all that happens, In the middle of the night, But how quickly they all vanish, When dawn brings forth its light. © 2016 LasergraphReviews
