Go tell God
You who die and go to heaven
Tell him we on earth cry like raven
While waiting for thy saving light
Which will make our faces once more bright

Go tell god
Ye birds that fly in the air
Tell him how his people fare
In this world dominated by evil
Where men are manipulated by the devil

Go tell God
You saints blameless in act
That on earth we are in deep doubt
Who to follow in this world full of forgery
Where preachers preach b'cause they are hungry

Go tell God
O! Tell him eternal angels
To free his people from these tangles
To which satan has tied us
B'cause only him can free us
