A SCARY SCAR

A SCARY SCAR

A Poem by Larry Micheals
"

Not dwelling behind your PRESENT(PAST) is to forge on to the FUTURE. Larry Micheals

"
The lines have fallen in places for our dentless souls,
The fallen tree of time has placed us within our stainless roles,
the role that time speaks of, is doubtlessly pain,
for the hidden smiles have turned grey and endlessly vain.
The worse thing that can happen to an earthly being,
is to be remembered amongst the forgotten things.

Looking back to gaze contemptiously at time,
when we were denied our morning grapes and evening lime.
Singing songs of agony as our lips spit forth wails,
stamping our naked soles on fruitless past inbetween the torn veil.

It is indeed a scar that i look back at it with a trembling flesh,
a scary scar it will always be, even though i'm now refreshed...
