Party At The Nest

Party At The Nest

A Poem by Lana

When desire waits in its place, it fights, it sits then turns into garbage
You get busy smoothing thoughts in the night of waves
When you could attack, reducing them to their grave
With a box of matches and a head full of smoke
You can read flames in a tunnel where you hear the blasts
"There's a war out there", you tell your past
It replies "Just party at the nest and never look back"
