I Do Not Care

I Do Not Care

A Poem by Lana

I do not care
I have no mind
No fixed personality
Nothing but love
Doves up above
Intrigue the core of me
Sensing the winds of time below me
My feet crystal clear in the river stream
My fingers turning white as I cease to exist
Because
I do not care
I have no time
I eat snow for lunch
And I drink petrol on my way to work
And I never die
You are chained by the rhythm
Your life movie has a score
I'm a bad dancer
I walk in a room I trip I clock out
I never truly work
Everywhere I go I burn
You are a child of God
Witnessing murder
And you cry under your pillow
"Please sir, Please Sir"
"Don't make me a Monster"
"Don't kill me on my way to Heaven"
I do not care
I have no mind
Throw acid on my gut
Watch me suffer
I drink poison for supper
And I never die
Because
I do not care
I have no time
