A Poem by Lana

I applied for a job today
I was told I could come back another day
And bring my experiences in papier maché
Its shape has to be a bit rounded
But with squarish corners
And inside there has to be colors
So when it dries they can tear it down
And it crumbles to the ground
And the colors as vivacious-
As a Kahlo painting
Shall be brought to the light
And only then they can judge it in all its glory
Its acts of valour - melting
Its refreshing candour - burning
Oh we want the world of you
And we want it now
But in papier maché
And hopefully you could bring it on Tuesday
But remember, it is only the first step
There's a certain candy stick we would like you to make
But we'll give you more details
Later in the day
I don't know when
Later, maybe next Wednesday
And it's never too late
To work on your dance
There are a few steps you'll have to take
Some that could last forever
Some that could take all day
Best regards
