Who craves a forever?

Who craves a forever?

A Poem by Lana

The yellow blouse you wear will be worn by a teenager someday
In 2054 as they found it in a vintage store
And the glasses you wore to the beach
Well they ended up being destroyed and recycled
It became a pen instead
Your favorite lamp on your bedside table
Well, it is now in someone else's basement
I'm sorry to say, the things you loved are all gone
But the stuff inside your soul well that is forever
Up until you're gone
You only leave memories
But they only live if people live forever
Tell me, do you crave a forever?
