SwimmingA Poem by LanaLife is the scariest thing ever invented One day you are smiling The other, your house is exploding Life will destroy what you value the most And then build a foundation and dust the stars The remains of your ashes and pain that was punctured into your veins There seems to be no reason behind it One day you have everything The next you have nothing You and nature around youth And the sun and moon rising Disappearing It is always just you in the end Decaying into nothingness Worms in a coffin Eating away your instrument you've played against your will You've never had anything in your life But to play it out As long as you can And maybe it is the universe's way To let you know that We belong to no one And we will never own anything We just are people, swimming Crashing Breaking And reaching the shore
