Fries

Fries

A Poem by Lana

You function now
You are awakened
You dance you laugh
You read and you cry
You pray and you hide
Each time you try
To figure out
What is life
You just don't fight
You know that it is just life
You function now
Like a robot that cooks your fries
Only 19,99 at Walmart
Oh it works now
You open up your eyes
And you dive into the abyss of design
Everything is a perfect line
But everytime
You keep trying
To figure out
What is life
You just don't fight
You know that it is just life
With time
You see some multi-functions
Start running wild
The oil is burnt
The fries are soft
Nothing seems to cook anymore
What is this robot?
What has it all been for?
I just want to eat fries
And now it doesn't turn on anymore
All of that
For only 19,99
At Walmart
Oh time
You always cook the best fries
We eat them plain
And then s**t it out
