When will it stop?

When will it stop?

A Poem by Lana

Fire lies beneath me

Bursting temporarily in orange defeat

But never in the same place or at the same time

For I wouldn't want you to burn yourself, my Child

I've cleaned the air and englobed our Home

In an Ozone lair, our secret paradise for you to lay on

I've provided the purest of Waters

Falling from the sky in a force of Nature

Love in the air, a San Francisco blur

Infrastructure adorning our Earth

Lost in a vortex of endorphins & blind births

Of danger, greed, cocaine and liquor

Living on the edge of an Economic crisis

And mathematical Numbers

Discarding the subtle soft pink orange clouds

Sunset welcoming you when the time stops

And you lay down on your sofa

Thinking of all the ways of life

That I've not thought of

My Water becomes dark

As thick as Coca-Cola

Factories demolishing my vision and craft

Striking oil and exporting blood

Please tell me

Will you think of me when I'm gone?

When will it stop?

When will it stop?
