The Orange ClownA Poem by LanaScary little poemThe orange clown is knocking at your door Knock knock knock The orange clown creeps outside your window at night Did anybody turn off the lights? You receive the stranger with a naivety never heard of "Is this orange clown coming to kill me?" The orange clown replies "no, I am here to invite you to a circus It spreads like fire, everyone is a participator, and tonight it only gets worse" You reply, with great enthusiasm, "yes I am bored out of my mind And I've never joined a circus like this one in my life" The orange clown smiles, his yellow thin hair blowing in the wind in this cold night "You can only join if you're afraid" You reply, with two eyebrows meeting each other, that you believe in the kindness of strangers "Don't be afraid of me" said the orange clown, "I need you to let out one of your greatest fear" You take a step back, "so what does it mean?" "Let the fear grow like wildfire, and destroy this invisible entity by joining the circus" The orange clown said, with a cocky grin on his face. "Let the circus guide you it'll tell you how to cast this fear into this world- for without fear, there is no anger, and without anger, there would be no fire for our show" Perplexed you say "I am afraid of fire" The orange clown replied "The one in front of the gun lives forever" And with that, the orange clown left like an arrow Hitting a target that was hidden in the subconscious of humanity's echo © 2017 Lana |
