Have faith

Have faith

A Poem by Lana

The sun was shiny and bright
Until you saw the shadow over your shoulder
The rainbow dissapeared and the fog dissipated
All you want to know now is, when will you see the light?

The wind gets you off track
Your wings are ripped off
You fall down on your face
You ask, is this the part where I get an anxiety attack?

You've seen this dark eerie road before
The world keeps spinning around
You spin around with it, even if it gets you a headache
You ask, what is this for?

You're so tired of fighting
Without your wings you can't fly
You miss looking over the world, with the sun over your shoulder
I say, you see that ladder? You better start climbing

You'll see the same view
But in a different perspective
Your wings will take time to grow

You ask no more
You sit on the edge of the building
You can look over the world, with no warm sunlight on your shoulder
But you know the moon rises and sets everyday

It is life.
