A Story by Lára

November had arrived and soon the leaves would turn brown of decay. Warmth lingered in the air which wasn’t characteristic for this time of year. She would find delight in the contrast between the gray sky and yellow leaves that would appear prior to dusk. It was as if the events of nature left a stronger impact on her rather than the events of her life.

The previous night she had met him again. Her awareness of his growing affections had little influence on her conscience. Such a meeting that would be of higher significance to many, seemed nothing but trivial to her.
